EMPOWERING REFUGEES THROUGH COMMUNITY ATHLETICS
We’re launching a multi-year partnership with Minnesota United Football Club, starting with our World Refugee Day 2021 capsule.

MINNESOTA UNITED FC x EPIMONIA
Minnesota United Football Club (MNUFC) is a soccer league that represents the diversity of Minnesota and the Twin Cities, who are home to multiple large communities of refugees from Vietnam, Somalia, Thailand, and more. MNUFC is also a community leader in advocacy with regularly held food pantry donations, youth clinics, and more.
This capsule was created to honor the importance of community activities like athletics for refugees’ integration into a new culture. The beneficiary of this capsule will be the Karen Football Association, a longtime nonprofit partner of Epimonia. Both the men’s and women’s team at the Karen Football Association are comprised of refugees from Burma and Thailand. KFA also has multiple mentoring programs and pushes for more gender equity in athletics.

We've partnered with them to release a collection of limited edition hats featuring their logo and a patch of our life jacket material.
